Chris Brown To Be Sentenced For Rihanna Assault

Chris Brown will be formally sentenced later today for his attack on Rihanna- without his ex in attendance.

The singer will attend a Los Angeles court where the judge is likely to give him 5 years probation and six months community service as part of a plea bargain Brown made.

He admitted one count of felony assault on his girlfriend of the time Rihanna after a Grammys party on February 8. According to the police report Brown punched her repeatedly and bit her ear.

However the Umbrella singer will not attend court today according to her lawyer. He told a US website she won’t be there and added than Rihanna is happy with the sentence.

He said: “A level one order is sufficient for my client. The order will require Chris to not molest, annoy, or harass Rihanna. Since the inception of the case, we've always believed that that's the only order required.”
