Chris Brown has slammed accusations that he made a joke about his 2009 assault on Rihanna when attempting to 'chat up' a woman.

The Turn Up The Music singer, who recently hit back at those who criticised his win at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (12th February), has denied that he made a humourous reference to his attack on RiRi when asking a girl out for a date.

According to reports, the 22-year old approached a woman at the Profession Hair Care-Pre Grammys gifting suite and allegedly said to her: "Can I get your number? I promise I won't beat you."

Breezy has since vehemently denied the reports, telling TMZ: "That is absurd and absolutely not true. I did not say that nor would I joke about that."

Earlier this week, the Champion hitmaker also hit the headlines after he issued a warning to the press on Twitter, stating: "DEAR MEDIA.. Ur plan is not working. I'm not going anywhere so get used to me."

In other related news, Brown is tipped to appear on Rihanna's new single, following the news that the Bajan babe has recruited the help of a "shock" collaborator on a remix of Talk That Talk album track Birthday Cake.

The Hot 97's Miss Info has claimed that Chris has recorded two verses for the track, one where he raps and another which sees him singing.

The reports of a Breezy and RiRi collaboration are still yet to be confirmed, with Christina Aguilera also being linked to the project.
