Chris Brown In Assault Claim

Rihannas boyfriend quizzed by police after alleged attack before the Grammy Awards...

Chris Brown, 19, was involved in an argument with an unidentified woman whilst sitting in a car on Saturday night in LA- and has now been questioned by police.

Rihanna, who was nominated for three awards, and Chris Brown, for two, both pulled out of their scheduled performances at this years Grammy Awards. Just before the ceremony, organisers announced that they had been informed that Rihanna will not be attending.

Mr Brown was due to sing Forever whilst Rihanna was set to perform Live Your Life/Disturbia as the second performance of the night.

According to the Los Angeles police department "After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

Chris walked into a police station at 19:00 local time on Sunday to talk to police and was released on $50,000 bail about an hour after the Grammy Awards had ended.

Although the police did NOT identify the woman who had made the complaint against Mr Brown, various websites are reporting that it was Rihanna.
