Christian Bale Arrested

The Batman actor has been arrested for an alleged assault on his mother and sister

Christian Bale- who only last night was on the red carpet for the premiere of The Dark Knight has been arrested over an alleged assault.

He attended a London police station today (July 22) after his 61 year old mother and sister reported the alleged incident and was bailed after spending hours in custody.

He has been released until September- pending further enquiries.

The met police said: "A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault.."
