Cloverfield 2 ‘On Hold ’
As the team behind it are too busy…

The sequel to cult disaster flick Cloverfield is currently on hold, the director has revealed.
Matt Reeves suggested it was likely to happen but said he and producer JJ Abrams are too busy on other projects at the moment.
Speaking at Comic Con he revealed: “Cloverfield 2 is on hold for now, J.J. [Abrams] is very involved with Super 8 and I've been doing Let Me In.
“So we have shelved it until we can get the team from the first back together.”
Director Reeves is currently completing work on vampire movie Let Me In- a remake of the Swedish film Let The Right One In.
Producer JJ Abrams is the man behind Lost and the recent Star Trek re-boot. He’s also involved in the next Mission Impossible movie.
