Dizzee’s World Cup Anthem Hits Number 1

Dizzee Rascal and James Corden’s Shout For England song has gone straight to number one in the Official UK Singles Chart.

The song beat Tinie Tempah’s new track Frisky to the top spot despite only being released on Wednesday selling over 110,000 copies.

Proceeds from the release- which has been backed by Simon Cowell- will be donated to Great Ormond Street children’s hospital.

A re-released version of Three Lions made it to number 10 while New Order’s World In Motion went Top 40.

In the album chart Christina Aguilera’s Bionic album went straight to number one.
