Adele And Rita Ora Visit Those Affected By Grenfell Tower Tragedy And Offer Their Support

The fire has taken the lives of 12 people with that number expected to rise in the coming days.

Adele and Rita Ora have visited Grenfell Tower to offer their support to those affected and to help sort through the huge amount ofdonations.

At least 17people have died from the fire which engulfed the block of flats in North Kensington in the early hours of Tuesday morning, with it continuing to burn for 24 hours after.

The death toll is expected to continue to rise as emergency services work their way through the debris, while 18 people fight for their lives in critical care.

But at times of horrific tragedy it’s the public who come together to help those in need, as Adele and husband Simon Konecki illustrated last night.

The singer was pictured visibly upset by the situation, as eyewitnesses claim she was ‘asking if anyone needs help’.

Brit singer Rita Ora also stopped by to help with distribution of donations, after telling fans she’d previously played in the tower as child.

"This is my neighbourhood I can't believe this is happening," she said.

"My prayers are with everybody involved my heart is beating so fast. I used to play in that block - I want to do all I can do to help."

'An emergency contact number has been set up for anyone concerned for loved ones:0800 0961 233.'
