Electric Picnic 2010 - Friday

Day one and the sun is out for Roxy Music and co.

Highlights:
Jonsi. Sigur Ross sung in English is just as good as Gobblegigook!

Roxy Music’s leather clad violinist, Modest Mouse and the Waterboys first Picnic!

Lowlights:
Walking. The Picnic’s gotten bigger this year meaning loads more feet work to get to your destinations. Throw in some misinformed stewards sending people all over the place (day one so we’ll forgive) and you’ll need a good foot massage by the end of the day!

Seemed like everybody was at:
The Bacardi Tent. Seems to get bigger every year in size and DJ cliental.  Mojitos in the sun enjoyed by all.

The weather was mostly:
Not quiet Ibiza sunshine but enough to warrant the shades.  Everyone expecting it to turn tomorrow so making the most of it!

Food of the Day:
Pieminister – standard!

Tune of the Day:
Hurts living up to the hype with Stay.
