EMAs: U2 Win Best Live Act

U2 have won the first award of the night at the EMAs in Berlin.
The veteran Irish group picked up Best Live Act thanks to their massive 360 degree tour. Pete Wentz and Bar Rafaeli presented the award on stage.
Earlier the band were at the Brandenburg Gate for a very special free concert presented by MTV taking place nearly 20 years to the day since the wall fell.
Speaking Bono said: "Thank you so much, live is where this band lives."
The Edge added: "20 years ago this week were were here recording this album Achtung Baby. Thank you so much."
U2 hit the road this year after releasing their No Line On The Horizon record. Their claw-like stage toured stadiums across the world giving fans a unique ‘in the round’ experience.
