EMAs: Best Rock Goes To Green Day
Billie Joe, Trey and Mike Dirnt hit the stage again…

Green Day have won the Best Rock gong at the MTV EMAs in Berlin.
Earlier in the evening the group kicked off proceedings with an awesome performance of Know The Enemy and Minority.
After a massive 2009 the band appeared on stage to thank their fans with Billy Joe joking: “Oh god thank you. We are Green Day and it's great that we got the Best Cock award, I mean Best Rock award."
Earlier in our ceremony U2 won Best Live Act and Jay-Z was handed the prize for Best Urban Act.
