Elton John Helped Eminem Beat Drugs
The rapper says Sir Elt’ gave him advice…

Eminem has said he got advice from Sir Elton John when he was addicted to prescription drugs.
The rapper- who releases his new album Relapse this coming Monday- told the Detroit Metro Times:
“I talk to Elton a lot. We became friends and I talk to him about things career wise.
“He had a substance abuse problem in the past. So when I first wanted to get sober, I called him, because he’s somebody who's in the business and can identify and relate to the lifestyle and how hectic things can be.”
Slim Shady continued: “He understands ... the pressure and any other reasons that you want to come up with for doing drugs.”
"I reached out to him and told him, 'Look, I'm going through a problem and I need your advice.'”
Eminem has now been clean fro a year but recently admitted his problem got so bad that he nearly died from an overdose.
Relapse is the rapper’s first album in five years.
