Eminem Talks Dr Dre Detox

Eminem has again said it’s his fault that Dr Dre’s album Detox has been delayed.

 

Speaking to DJ Semtex on 1Xtra Shady said that the producer was too busy working on his Relapse album to work on his own tracks.

 

Em explained: “Dre’s got a lot of material and he’s recorded a lot of material. He was working on his record for a good time period. Probably for a year straight.

 

“He basically put that on hold once I started with my record. I’m very grateful for that.”

 

In the same interview the Detroit rapper revealed he’ll repay the favour by working on Dre’s album too. Asked what he’ll be up to for the rest of 2009 Eminem said:

 

“I’m gonna focus on Relapse 2… and then go back to help Dre with input on his record. And make sure 50’s album comes out and try to help him.”

 

Earlier this year three songs which could feature on Detox leaked online.
