Eva Mendes Banned Calvin Klein Ad

Naked Eva Mendes advert banned by US networks for being to racy...

The campaign for Calvin Kleins new perfume Secret Obsession was deemed too racy for TV because it shows a glimpse of actress Eva Mendes' nipple.

The black and white advert shows Mendes rolling on a bed before caressing herself and showing her chest for a split second.

"Between love and madness lies obsession," she whispers seductively during the footage. "Love...madness. It's my secret."

Although American TV networks have pulled the advert, Calvin Klein is running the video on its website "Eva Mendes banned advert."

However Tom Murry president and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Inc added "This development is not entirely a surprise for the US.market,"

"We believe the commercial is exceptional and hits the mark for Secret Obsession. We will reach our consumers in the U.S. primarily through the Web site, the print campaign and at point of sale.

"We are anticipating a very successful global launch."
