Cheryl Cole has been described as a "role model" by Geordie Shore cast members Sophie and James.

The Girls Aloud beauty, who is currently flying the flag for Newcastle across the pond after landing her dream job on The X Factor USA, seems to have impressed the cast members of MTV's new show, so much so, they have branded her "amazing."

Speaking of the Queen of the North-East's US success, Sophie Kaseai exclusively told MTV News presenter Laura Whitmore: "She's gorgeous! How mint is that, for a Geordie to make America? That is mint!"

The 21-year old continued: "Hopefully we'll make that day, like she's a role model."

Her Geordie Shore co-star, James Tindale, agreed: "I don't think anyone could like have a bad word to say about Cheryl Cole, she's absolutely amazing."

Geordie Shore airs in the UK on Tuesday, May 24 only on MTV!
