After a series racked with 'will they, won’t they' flanter, Gaz and Charlotte finally shared a kiss in the Geordie Shore series 4 finale last night (Tuesday, December 18).
Although she spent most of the series trying to convince herself she wasn’t bothered about Gary anymore, Charlotte finally admitted that she knows it’s just because she’s in love with him - and it seemed Gaz couldn’t deny his feelings anymore either.
Taking Charlotte aside during a boat party to celebrate the end of their time in the house, Gaz told her things between them had been “weird” because “we just can’t win or lose. For me, we fell out, we made up, we banged, we fell out, we made up, we’re in love. Everything.”
Caught off guard, Charlotte asked Gaz if he realised what he’d said and the pair laughed it off.
And Gaz continued: “I do love Charlotte to bits, I do wanna be around her and spend time with her. I just never want to hurt her again so it’s hard to find a happy medium.”
As the last two remaining in the house, Gaz and Charlotte ended up having a cuddle and Gaz said: “Everyone knows I love that girl to bits. I like her laugh, the way she smiles, it does make us happy”.
Though it’s obvious to everyone that the Geordie sweethearts have a got a connection, Charlotte herself is cynical about their relationship, saying: “I would like to think that Gary did really care about us. But you can just never tell. He’ll never give anything away.”
Disappointed in herself for giving in to his advances she added: “I can’t believe that I kissed him back. What the f*ck does it mean?"
Clearly feeling emotional, Gaz ended the series saying: “The thing I love about Charlotte the most is she can just lift anyone’s spirits. Put that girl in a room with you for five minutes and you’ll be laughing. You’ll be having a mint time.
"She doesn’t care what she looks like, she doesn’t care what anyone thinks. She’s this little bubble of Charlotte land and when you’re part of it it’s an amazing land to be in.”
Nobody can say for sure what the future holds for them both one thing is sure - their romance is far from over.
