Ghostbusters To Return?

Ghostbusters 3 rumoured to be on the way...

After years of speculation, it looks like the third instalment of Ghostbusters may finally get made.

According to movie trade paper Variety, two writers for the US version of The Office - Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky " have been hired to work on the script.

The original Ghostbusters was released in 1984, and along with its 1989 sequel saw Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis star as bumbling scientists who become heroes after saving New York from all manner of spooks.

Its hoped the new film will reunite the original cast, but it is not yet clear if the new movie will be live action like the first two or completely CGI.
