According to The Sun, Cheryl Cole and Co had hoped to reunite for the Glastonbury Festival, but have eyed the Olympics instead after learning that Glasto is taking a break in 2012 to accommodate the sporting event.
The newspaper has reported that Shaw is "in talks" with Olympics promoters to try and bag the girls a performance slot alongside rumoured acts Coldplay and The Rolling Stones, at a festival to support the games at London's O2 Arena.
A source told The Sun: "The girls are getting very excited. The promoters are only looking to book massive, show-stopping acts, which they would be perfect for."
They continued: "They would tick the pop box while The Rolling Stones would appeal to a much wider audience."
