Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were spotted leaving a recording studio in London last night (12th December), sparking speculation that Girls Aloud could be working on new material with Mark Ronson.
According to MailOnline, the Something New singers were snapped leaving the studio together, before closely being followed out of the building by Ronson.
However, sources have told the website that Roberts and Walsh could have met up with the producer to discuss their solo careers outside of the girlband.
Separate insiders noted that the recording session could have also been for backing tracks for their forthcoming tour, which kicks off next year.
While the future of GA is still currently unknown, Cheryl did recently confirm that she's putting her solo career on hold for their comeback.
She told Digital Spy at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball: "Girls Aloud is me, it's where I come from.
"I've had ten years of success. The fans of my [solo work] are Girls Aloud fans. Some of them were 7 at the time and now they're young women. I've got a lot to give back."
Girls Aloud will kick start their reunion jaunt in Chezza's native Newcastle at the Metro Arena on 21st February 2013.
