Glastonbury Festival is set to kick off with over 100,000 punters heading for the Somerset fields.

However a fire at a nearby scrap yard is currently causing long delays in getting onto the site because of closed roads. Police have told Glasto-goers to expect delays of up to five hours on the A37.

In other news Franz Ferdinand have revealed that they are unexpectedly playing at the festival tomorrow night on the Park Stage at 10pm.

Reports say rapper Wiley will join Hot Chip when they perform on The Other Stage Saturday night before headliners Massive Attack.

Controversial headliner Jay Z meanwhile has been covering Amy Winehouses Rehab, Estelles American Boy and even The Prodigy when playing gigs recently.

Wino herself is still scheduled to appear just under Jigga on the Pyramid Stage bill despite her health problems.
