Glee producer Brad Falchuck has hinted that the romance between Rachel and Finn will continue into the next series.
Falchuck revealed that the characters played by Lea Michele and Cory Monteith will still have the hots for each other in the new season of the show, due to hit US TV screens this September.
Brad said of their romance: "I think it's sometimes harder to be a couple than to want to be a couple. So let's explore that adventure of these two people who are a little bit different and how much are they alike."
"They obviously love each other but how do two people who are sort of different and have particularly different interests, how do they make a relationship work?"
He continued: "And Rachel is awesome and high-maintenance, Finn is awesome and low-maintenance. How do those two get together and make it work?"
While we hope the pair can make a go of things, Falchuck added: "It's high school. You never know what combinations we're going to get. Quinn and Rachel will date this year, maybe."
"Everybody will date everybody, I think. That probably won't happen! But I think it's high school and I think it's interesting to see what kind of combinations happen. Puck and Mercedes dated last year, so anything's possible."
In other Glee news, earlier this week creator Ryan Murphy confirmed there will be a tribute episode to the music of pop princess Britney Spears.
