Glee actress Heather Morris who plays ditzy cheerio Brittany it set to take centre stage for the upcoming Britney Spears themed episode.
As we previously reported, Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the music of Miss. Spears will be used for a tribute show to the Baby One More Time singer and it appears the TV series' very own Brittany will take lead vocals.
Rumours suggest that Brittany will be getting her own episode, taking the limelight from Gleek Rachel Berry played by Lea Michele and will sing at least two of Spears' greatest hits for the special show.
Murphy also confirmed reports that Rachel and Finn (Cory Monteith) will be in relationship for season 2 of the hit show, stating: "Rachel and Finn broke up twice. So, let's keep them together…"
He added: "These two very different people — and let's really see how an entire season, if there's no breakup scenes, what does that couple look like at the end of the season?"
As for the other Glee couples, Ryan revealed: “Puck still loves Quinn (Dianna Agron), but she needs to go off and find herself again.”
Murphy also claimed that cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester will return to her 'mean roots' from the start of the new series, despite having a change of heart towards the New Directions at the end of last season.
