Glee 3D Movie Due To Hit Cinemas This Summer

The Gleeks will be taking over a big screen near you later this year...

It has been confirmed that a 3D version of the Glee live tour is due to be released in cinemas this summer.

The flick, entitled Glee! Live! 3D!, will feature all 14 original cast members, including over favourite Gleeks Lea Michele, Heather Morris and Dianna Agron.

Screenings of the movie have been scheduled Stateside on 12th August, with a UK release date expected to be announced in the near future.

Glee creator, Ryan Murphy - who will also produce the show - has since stated: "This tour was all about going out and performing for our amazing fans who have supported our show from the beginning, but due to the limited time, there were only so many cities we could get to."

He added: "We'll be able to bring the concert experience in full three-dimensional glory."

In other Glee related news, it has been rumoured that the cast will be covering Cheryl Cole's hit single, Parachute, in the next season of the US TV show - coinciding with her appearance as a judge on The X Factor USA.
