Glee actress Jenna Ushkowitz has spoken about the pending death of a character on the hit US TV show, stating that it will "affect everyone."
Last month, Ushkowitz's fellow Gleek Matthew Morrison confirmed to E! Online there would be a death in an upcoming episode of the show, claiming that the person who passes away is "no-one that you would probably expect."

Jenna - who plays Tina-Cohen Chang - has revealed more details regarding the death, explaining that while the scenes are incredibly sad, she thinks fans of the Fox series will "appreciate" how the events are portrayed.
The star told HollywoodLife.com: "You know it was really, really sad. Any kind of death is sad and it brings you back to a place you don't really want to go. So it kind of affects everybody"
"It was really hard but the episode is done really, really well. It was really sweet and I think people will appreciate it. It was done in the right way. I think they'll be sad but I think they'll feel for the characters who will be affected by it."

She added: "Any death, and especially on 'Glee' [since] you don't expect something like that so for that to happen... I think fans will be shocked a little bit, and not expect anything at all... I think fans will like it."
It is thought the episode, entitled Funeral, will be screened before the season finale.
