Snoop Dogg & Mos Def For New Gorillaz Album
Damon Albarn lines up the guests…

Damon Albarn has revealed that the new Gorillaz album will feature US rappers Snoop Dogg and Mos Def.
Speaking to
The Guardian the
Blur frontman also confirmed the title of the third disc from the cartoon band-
Plastic Beach. It will be released in
2010 and according to Damon is "the most pop record i've ever made."
As well as the hip hop stars the record will feature vocals from soul legend
Bobby Womack and
The Bee Gees' Barry Gibb.
The
Syrian National Orchestra and
The Horrors have also recorded parts for Albarn.
Gorillaz are the creation of Damon and artist Jamie Hewlett. Their last album Demon Days was produced by Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley/ Beck) and had guest spots from Roots Manuva, De La Soul and Shaun Ryder.
