Ed Westwick’s Gay Kiss?

Ed Westwick is reportedly set to be filming a gay kiss for the upcoming third season of Gossip Girl.

His character Chuck Bass, a notorious womaniser on the show, will kiss new cast member Josh Ellis (played by Neal Bledscoe).

This is part of a plan by on-screen girlfriend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) in which she uses Chuck to win her the honour of delivering the ‘freshman speech’ at her new University.

It should come as no surprise to diehard fans of Gossip Girl, who saw Chuck Bass ‘enjoying’ both men and women in the original series of books, but could it develop into something more within the show itself?

This comes after months of speculation about the relationship between Ed Westwick and co-star Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) who were allegedly seen kissing on set.

A twist on the gay plot is expected to develop, but will Chuck Bass make the short term swing permanent or will his hoards of female fans object?
