Gwyneth working with William Orbit on tracks

Gwyneth Paltrow has been secretly working with super-producer William Orbit to transform herself into a pop star.

The Oscar-winning actress has clearly taken a leaf out of hubby Chris Martins book " although apparently she has no plans to work with him. Orbit " who has previously worked with Gwynnies pal Madonna " reckons shes got a great voice and is thrilled with the tracks theyve worked on.

We bumped into each other and got talking and it turned out she was keen to do some recording, he says. Weve already done a track which will make a brilliant first single.

But it wont be the first time her singing voice has made it onto an album: the soundtrack for the karaoke-themed movie Duets featured her belting out two sing-along classics.
