Daniel Radcliffe has told MTV News that he listens to Radiohead to get him in the mood for filming the Harry Potter series.

On the set of the two part Deathly Hallows movies we asked Dan what he had been listening to whilst shooting.

He told us: “Lots and lots of Radiohead. Loads of stuff. I often come back to stuff like Radiohead and Hope Of The States for those harder scenes.”

Rupert Grint meanwhile- who plays Ron Weasley- told us he’s into some other trendy groups. The star said:

“I am really into the Black Lips at the moment and while I’m reading the script I listen to quite a lot of Mogwai’s instrumental stuff.”

Fellow Potter star Tom Felton- who plays badboy Draco Malfoy- confirmed to MTV that lead actor Radcliffe does love his music.

"Daniel loves it in the makeup room," Tom explained. "He thumps it out at 6 in the morning.”

Although Felton said he’s into more sedate sounds, telling us: “I'm more of an earphones guy. I like my chilled acoustic music. I’m a big fan of Jack Johnson.”

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince on DVD is out now.
