As millions of Harry Potter fans round the world come round to the realisation that the last Potter movie is upon us, it seems the actors themselves could miss the saga the most.

Speaking at a press conference last night, actress Emma Watson, who plays Hermione in the films, says she thinks of the character “like a sister, she feels so real to me”.

When asked what she’d miss most about the Potter films, she said, “I'll miss the people but I will actually just miss being her."

Speaking via a recorded video message, Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, echoed Watson’s thoughts.

"The thing I will miss most is the crew and the cast. The crew are some of my best friends in the world."

"We've spent 10 years of our lives together. I do think the bond between me and Rupert and Emma is pretty unbreakable. I will miss them both very, very much but hopefully we will find something to work together on."

He went on to say that he though the latest, and last, installment of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, was the best yet.

"I'm so thrilled with the film. I think of it as being light years ahead of any of the other films in the series. Part 1 was great but in terms of quality it's the best film we've ever made."

Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, also spoke of his struggle to come to terms with life without the wizarding saga.

"I don't think I really have come to term with it. I've felt a little bit lost without it really, I haven't really known what to do with myself," he said of the last few months.

"It's been such a constant part of my life. To suddenly come down to this one film is quite sad."
