Hope For Haiti Details Confirmed

George Clooney and Wyclef Jean will host the Hope For Haiti telethon this Friday (Jan 22nd) - and you will be able to watch it live on MTV UK.

The show is being organised by MTV Networks alongside actor Clooney and will feature live music performances, celeb appearances and CNN news reports from the earthquake hit island.

The two hour event will be broadcast commercial free from New York, Los Angeles and Haiti itself.

From the UK you will be able to watch Hope For Haiti and donate from 1am on Friday night/ Saturday morning on MTV.

It will then be repeated from 9pm this Saturday January 23 on both VIVA and MTV.

Speaking to US reporters George Clooney explained more about the event. He said: "We're going to have a lot of great musicians — we're putting them together as we speak.

"And then we'll be able to release the songs on iTunes the next day, so that they'll be a continuing ability to make money for several of the charities"
