Mika 'I Want My MTV Ibiza' Review

Mika brings a touch of glam and some unashamedly catchy pop to Amnesia

Having just been sailing sky high over Ibiza in a hot air balloon, Mika touched down to bring the Amnesia crowd up to dizzying heights with a selection of fast, catchy, glam pop anthems.

He burst onto a stage decorated with Renaissance art, with his band, all in napoleon style get-up. Mika himself looking as flamboyant as ever in an all white outfit.

The crowd, who had just been treated with a set of party classics from Jean Claude Ades, danced and sang along to a high energy performance from Mika. Opening with Relax Take It Easy, and including his hits Love Today, We Are Golden and Grace Kelly. He then finished with Kick Ass (We Are Young) before being summoned back by some incredibly noisy fans for an encore, where he performed the track Elle Me Dit from his new album The Origin of Love.

The party did not stop there, as Felix Da Housecat quickly took over the decks, keeping the packed dancefloor dancing with his set of pumping house tracks.

So that's it from MTV for another week on Ibiza. This was another great night at one of the party islands most amazing clubs, Amnesia. Good thing we'll be back next Friday for more fun, as the 'I Want My Ibiza' nights continue.
