The former Coronation Street star broke down as she shared her worries with the video camera in the Bush Telegraph, confessing that she was afraid that she couldn't "hack it" on the show.
According to Digital Spy, Helen, 22, said: "I think I'll be the person who'll cry the most in the show ever. I'm really struggling. I've even been thinking of going because I just don't know if I can hack it."
Despite making a splash with her bikinis at shower time, the chesty actress found herself voted to undertake one of the first Bushtucker Trials - along with Tory MP Nadine Dorries.
She had vowed to redeem herself after blubbing during the highwire task - but then only lasted a matter of seconds in the Bug Burial trial.
"I'm not feeling very good to be honest. I did think this would be easier," she commented. "It's a lot harder than I thought it would be.
"I'm dreading going back and saying I was only in there 10 seconds, but I tried. It's embarrassing and it's just humiliating.
"I just feel like such a wimp."
Fellow soap actress Charlie Brooks was supportive when Helen returned to camp, telling her "you did your best," and joking: "If you come back with no stars tomorrow, we'll kick your arse."
Made In Chelsea's Hugo Taylor has also been finding it tough.
