Jay-Z has shot to number one in the UK Singles Chart with Run This Town.
The track, which features Rihanna and Kanye West, mark’s Jay-Z’s first number one in the UK.
Run This Town is the first release from Jay’s forthcoming album The Blueprint 3, which was leaked online last week.
Meanwhile, Sugababes’ new effort Get Sexy has to settle for the week’s second highest new entry at number two. It if hadn’t have been for Jay-Z, the trio would have bagged their seventh UK number one. Ah well.
Last week’s top-spot holder Dizzee Rascal falls to four with Holiday.
In the album chart, Arctic Monkeys hold on to number one with Humbug.
