Jay-Z Admits Surprise At Lil Wayne Show

Jay-Z has spoken to MTV News about his recent show at Madison Square Garden- which included a guest appearance from Lil Wayne.

Weezy joined Jigga in New York when his sentencing date was delayed by a fire at the courthouse.

Jay told our US team: “It was fantastic, any time you play the Garden is a special moment.

“Wayne, (I don’t know) how that worked out, he was supposed to go away for a year. Somehow he was able to perform that last show. He came out to an incredible reaction.”

The On To The Next One rapper also namechecked the other artists who appeared at his home town gig.

Hov’ said: “Then Drake, Nicki Minaj — all on Jeezy's set, which was fantastic. Then Trey Songz and Fabolous. It's one of those magical nights at the Garden!”
