Jennifer Garner Gives Birth

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcome their second baby girl!

Jennifer Garner gave birth on Tuesday night (Jan 06) at a Los Angeles Hospital, her publicist told People magazine.

"Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl," the representative said. But no further details were given.

Garner and Affleck, both 36, were married in June 2005. Garner gave birth to their first daughter Violet in December 2005.

The couple were spotted arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve, presumably thinking the baby was coming then.

In the weeks before the birth, the actress was seen out and about in Santa Monica and taking her daughter to and from nursery school, looking heavily pregnant.

Garner finally confirmed the pregnancy in August after joking, "Oh, I'm not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just - what do they call it - a breakfast pouch"

"It always makes me laugh when people say 'Is she?' 'Isn't she?' It's like eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute," she said in the interview with Access Hollywood, adding "We're so excited, obviously."
