JLS Singer Could Be Rugby Star

JLS singer Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill could have been a top rugby player according to Wasps star Danny Cipriani.

Cipriani used to play in the same school rugby team as the X Factor star is also close friends with JB after growing up with him in London.

Danny, who dates model Kelly Brook told The Sun: "I've followed the JLS boys all the way through. I remember going to see them before X Factor and they were really polished even then.”

He added: "I've seen them in a room of about 20 people - now they are selling out everywhere they go. Not many of the rugby crowd like their music but I am a JLS fan."

The rugby star, also offered a word of advice to 18-year old rapper Chipmunk after his recent depression.

He said: "I called him up for a chat. It can be tough when you are young and under pressure. I love his music too. He's part of a great scene."

Danny spoke with the tabloid newspaper at The Lock Up event, held by club promoters Death By Daylight at a London urban art gallery where DJ’s Goldie and Eddie Lock each played alternative sets.

Other celebs in attendance included Ian Brown, Gemma Arterton and Michael Sheen.
