Director Admits Joaquin Phoenix Doc’ Is Fake

The director of the Joaquin Phoenix rap ‘documentary’ has admitted that the scenes were staged.

I’m Still Here follows the actor’s attempts at launching a career in hip hop after apparently quitting films.

But the man behind the movie Casey Affleck has now said all it not as it seems. He told the New York Times:

“It's a terrific performance, the performance of his career.”

Just last week Casey was claiming that Joaquin had really decided to become a rapper. However it’s now likely he’ll return to films!

I’m Still Here is released at UK cinemas this week.
