Johnny Depp has been named Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine beating young pretenders to his beauty throne.

Last year the prestigous honour was won by Hugh Jackman but the publication now believes it's all about Captain Jack.

Kate Coyne, editor at People, said: “Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He'll be sexy 10 years from now."

Yesterday reports claimed Depp is to receive a £21 million to star in the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie- Stranger Tides.
