Kanye Releases Power Artwork

Which appears to show him with a sword through his head…

Artwork for Kanye West’s Power single appears to have been released online.

And in typical fashion it’s not exactly understated. The illustration shows Kanye’s severed head wearing a gold crown and pinned to the ground by a sword.

It’s reportedly the work of revered American artist George Condo- who is known for paintings depicting The Queen and Christ.

It’s the second piece of artwork released by Condo to accompany Power- the star’s first single since coming in for heavy criticism after a stage invasion at the MTV VMAs in 2009 which upset Taylor Swift.

On Sunday Kanye played the track live for the first time at the B.E.T Awards in Los Angeles. He appeared on top of a volcano to deliver the song. Seriously.
