Super-producer Swizz Beatz has opened up about being recently called the best producer of all time by Kanye West, saying he found it difficult to take such an unexpected compliment from Yeezy.

Swizz told DJ Envy: "I mean, he said it, he said it and I don't know how to take compliments like that because I'm so used to playing the back and being humble and modest and that's really who I am.

"But from a perspective of how he's looking from, he's probably really looking from the core and starting from 1998 to 2010, being consistent and having so many back-to-back-to-back-to-back success stories and y'all gotta ask him that.

“I can't answer that (laughs). More importantly, I'm in a good space in my life and I bring that good energy to the studio".
