Katie Price and Alex Reid have had their marriage blessed at a ceremony at St Paul's Church in Woldingham, Surrey. The pair originally married in Las Vegas in February, after dating for just seven months.
As the mum-of-three arrived at the church, a scuffle broke out between Katie’s security and photographers who were attempting to enter the car. A spokesman for the bride told the BBC that Katie was visibly upset by the brawl: "She is understandably shaken and upset by the actions of these people but is now looking to enjoy the rest of her day with her close friends and family."
Guests including Melinda Messenger, Michelle Heaton and a heavily-pregnant Danielle Lloyd were made to sign confidentially agreements and leave their mobile phones at the door of the church.
No members of the public got to see Katie’s wedding dress as she was shielded from photographers by large white sheets, but all will be revealed in a three-part ITV2 series, Katie & Alex: For Better, For Worse.
In a bid to confuse photographers as to the location of the reception, marquees were set up in the gardens of both Katie’s homes – her base in Surrey and her new property in West Sussex. In the end, the reception took place at the Surrey house she shared with ex-husband Peter Andre.
Katie releases her debut solo single, Free To Love Again, on 12 July.
