Katy Perry Unveils Artwork For Teenage Dream LP

The singer is pictured naked wearing only candyfloss...

Katy Perry has unveiled the cover of her new album, Teenage Dream which shows the singer lying naked and only wearing pink cotton candy.

The California Gurls star is pictured completely starkers on the cover for her second studio LP, hiding her modesty with the fluffy sweet treat in a painting by artist, Will Cotton.

Perry said of her new album artwork: "Oh my God, what will my mother think? It's so gorgeous. I'm so excited. I'm nervous. I'm shaking a bit. This will be my first piece of real art."

She added to our US team: "I have decided for this to be just the album cover — no print, no nothing, no Katy Perry…Hopefully they know it's me by the actual picture."

Katy, who is set to wed comedian Russell Brand later this year also revealed that the album itself will smell like candyfloss as inspired its cover.

She claimed: "When you purchase the CD physically, you just get a Katy Perry by Will Cotton. We went through every detail — it even smells like cotton candy! It actually stinks."
