Katy Perry has reportedly been offered the coveted job on the US X Factor judging panel after impressing Simon Cowell when she appeared as a guest judge in the UK version of the show.
The Teenage Dream singer is said to have been offered a cool £220,000 a week to take her seat as judge on the American version of the show when it launches next year.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Simon wants to get the judging names signed, sealed and announced within six weeks."

"He wants at least one massive American star, someone who is known globally, plus one Brit and at least one authoritative male."
They continued: “Katy was thrilled, especially by the package which is said to be a $340,000-a-show (£220,000) deal.”
Simon has allegedly considered a number of huge US superstars before deciding that Katy was the right girl for the job.
The insider added: “Jennifer Lopez was a serious consideration as was her husband Marc Anthony. Mariah Carey’s other half, Nick Cannon, is also in the frame."
"But Katy really came on Simon’s radar after the Dublin auditions. She absolutely nailed it. She was a natural.”
Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and UK judge Cheryl Cole were also rumoured to be joining the X Factor when it lands Stateside, with Perry herself claiming that Chezza will quit the UK show if she gets the job.
In other Katy Perry news, the California Gurls hit maker is also reportedly in talks with ITV2 about starring in her own fly-on-the-wall TV show.
A controller at the channel revealed: "Katy Perry is a target for us currently. She's brilliant, a bullseye person. We are talking to her management about various shows."
