Kerry Katona Denies Hiring Financial Advisor

MTV has spoken to Kerry Katona about the recent interesting developments in her life.

The star explained to us that she is now firmly back with husband Mark Croft after previously declaring she wanted a divorce.

And she claimed she didn’t hire the financial investigator who was reportedly working with her.

Kerry said: “I never, never hired a Financial Advisor, financial services sent him round to my house."

However a statement from Frank Cochran- the advisor involved- said: "I am shocked by Kerry Katona’s recent comments denying that she requested my company’s services to solve the mystery of her missing finances.

"It is well documented that Ms Katona stood next to me on her driveway in front of the press after signing a document to authorise Celebrity Financial Planning to act on her behalf regarding all of her Financial and Business affairs, of which I have a signed copy of this document (dated Friday 13th March)."

Speaking to us on the phone from a spa retreat she also clarified her relationship status after recently declaring she wanted a divorce.

Asked if she is back with her husband Mark the former Atomic Kitten singer said: “Yes we are… Mark’s at home looking after the kids.”

She continued: “Things happen in a marriage, things have to be said, things happen behind close doors- that’s between a man and wife, a husband and wife.”

Katona also told us that she is keen to do more acting in 2009!
