Ke$ha Knocks Susan Boyle Off Number 1

Ke$ha has knocked Susan Boyle off the top of the US album chart ending the operatic oddball’s six week spell at number one.

The LA girl’s Animal disc went straight into the top of the countdown with Boyle’s I Dreamed A Dream down to two.

The Britain’s Got Talent finalist has now sold over 3 million copies of her album.

But Ke$ha is the new kid in town- her single Tik Tok has now broken download records for a female artist in the US.

And in its first week her album has shifted a cool 152,000 copies.
