Rapper Kid Cudi has opened up about his previous lack of confidence and why he’s happier now.

This year has been a bit up and down for the uber-cool rap star, but he claims that no-one will stop him from being a great person.

He told VIBE Magazine: "I really just find that life is f**king funny. You have to take s**t as it comes and man up. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger and that's a fact. Even in death, no-one will stop me from being great."

Kid Cudi’s album Man On the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is due for release later this year.
