And her album’s topping the charts...

Kylie Minogue is on top of the world – Aphrodite, her 11th album, is going straight to number one and looks set to be her biggest seller since 2001’s Fever, which featured Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.

Last night Kylie celebrated with a performance at G.A.Y. at London’s Heaven nightclub. But it’s further afield that her goals lie – a Somerset field in June 2011, to be exact.

Kylie had been due to headline Glastonbury in 2005 but pulled out when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She finally made her debut at this year’s festival, joining Scissors Sisters on stage for a surprise appearance during their Pyramid Stage set.

Of the performance Kylie said: “That was just magical, really. I had about four-and-a-half minutes to try and take everything in and it was just great to be there with such good friends.”

The amazing response she got from the Glastonbury crowd put the festival firmly back on Kylie’s agenda for 2011. A source at her record label told The Mirror: “It's happening. After the reaction she got from the crowd this year, organiser Emily Eavis said it had to happen.”

Kylie has already announced she will tour next year and is reportedly planning the entire schedule around the festival.
