Lady GaGa Confirms Glasto

Plus the star says she was humbled when Madonna came to see her play live…

Lady GaGa has announced that she will play Glastonbury this year in a performance which is sure to be jaw-dropping.

The outlandish singer will bring pop to the muddy fields of Somerset this June and is also set for other gigs around the same time including support shows for Take That.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale this Friday May 8.

GaGa has been touring the US recently and this week had a very special guest watch her Ne York gig- Madonna.

Speaking to MTV News man Tim Kash she said: “I was very humbled that Madonna came to the show… And I had been hearing all week that she was going to come, and I was like, 'Oh, OK,' and I didn't want to talk about it or tell anyone 'cause I thought it was kind that she would want to come at all."

She continued: “I was really excited to see that [Madonna's daughter] Lourdes was there, and that made me really happy.”
