Lady GaGa met the Queen last night in Blackpool at the Royal Variety Performance.

The flamboyant popster wore a huge red PVC outfit with Elizabethan style frills as she met royalty.

The Queen giggled as she spoke to GaGa and checked out her unusual attire whilst meeting all the performers.

Also playing at the event were dance group Diversity, Alexandra Burke, Miley Cyrus, the cast of Sister Act, and Michael Bublé.

It’s the first time the Royal Variety Performance has been held in the seaside town since 1955.

Lady GaGa performed whilst suspended above the stage and even played piano whilst floating in the air.

We wonder what Her Majesty made of that!
