Lady GaGa's Granddad Dies

The Bad Romance singer is being comforted by boyfriend Luc Carl...

Lady GaGa is currently mourning her granddad, Joseph Germanotta, after he passed away on Friday… just two days after Lady G visited him at his nursing home.

GaGa, who wore a black suit, dominatrix style heels and a diamond-studded choker to see the World War II veteran before he died at the age of 88, is said to have been comforted by boyfriend Luc Carl.

The Poker Face hitmaker and Carl were spotted after his death on the Saturday in New York 'looking downbeat' but GaGa still managed to don a leotard and leather jacket.

GaGa has previously spoken out about her love of her granddad, even dedicating track Speechless to him at one of her Monster Ball gigs in Nottingham.

At the gig back in May, Lady GaGa stated: "I don't always talk about my personal life but my grandpa's sick. I'm really close with my grandpa and he's really sick and he's in the States and my dad's with him."

"So I was, like, crying all day, really sad. So I thought I would be honest and tell you that's what's going on."

She added: "So it's been one of those tough things that my grandpa's too old to come to my show, but I suppose if we sing loud enough, he'll be able to hear us. So this one's for you grandpa."
