Lady GaGa may have only just announced that Born This Way will be the first single from her new album, but the track is already being lined up to feature on Glee.

The hit US TV show, which has already covered some of Lady G's biggest hits on her own tribute episode, will be using the tune in a forthcoming episode in either March or April.

The Alejandro singer is said to have given clearance for the song to feature in the programme, with Glee's co-creator Ryan Murphy telling Entertainment Weekly: "I love that that song is [an] anthem,"

Murphy also revealed that Born This Way is likely to feature in an episode focusing on gay bully, Karofsky, played by Max Adler, who is in denial over his sexuality.

He explained: "This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark."

Ryan added: "But I also love Max and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don't really know what that's going to be, but I do know we're going to do a whole episode that's about that song."

The show is set to air in-between the release of the Born This Way single in February and the drop date of her highly anticipated album of the same name in May.

In other Lady GaGa news, female rapper of the moment, Nicki Minaj, has admitted that she has set her sights on working with the Poker Face hitmaker.

The Check It Out singer told AceShowbiz: "Many people say about my big chance to be collaborating with Lady Gaga. I’m sure I can, because Gaga is the type of girl that is very open and she’s great,”
